On Friday, February 27th, Cindy, Sarah, and Ariel will be at the NYC Porn Film Festival! Cindy will be delivering a talk called,
“How To Make Money Out Of Porn: Redesigning The Industry Business Model.”
Sarah and Ariel will then host and introduce a screening of MLNP #realworldsex videos and welcome everyone to to join in on a Q&A session.
Internet = massive over-supply of free content = broken old world order business model = how the fuck do we make money? True of every single industry including porn. And the answer isn’t trying to make people feel bad about piracy. (That worked really well for the music business.) Cindy Gallop, co-founder/CEO of MakeLoveNotPorn, shares her highly subjective and disruptive perspective on how to make a shit-ton of money out of the future of porn. This talk is for anybody in porn who wants to make more money, anyone who would like to go into porn and make money, anyone considering a future as a #sextech entrepreneur, anyone considering investing in porn and #sextech, and anybody who would like to make more money out of what they’re doing currently. Bring your questions for what will is guaranteed to be an entertaining and interactive session.
Cindy Gallop launched MakeLoveNotPorn at TED2009, in an attempt to squash the myths of hardcore pornography and to begin a dialogue around how real people have sex.
